We are so proud of Clinical Psychology PhD candidate, Sophie Bell! She presented “The Lifespan Cognitive Health Risk Score: Twin-Based Cross-Validation of a Prediction Index for Cognitive Decline” at the International Neuropsychology Society’s 2026 conference. The Lifespan Cognitive Health Risk (LCHR) score is a multidomain index that integrates early-life developmental, genetic, and epigenetic factors with established midlife lifestyle, health, and demographic factors to quantify risk for cognitive decline. The score was developed in a longitudinal cohort of twins followed from infancy up through midlife and internally validated using a novel twin bootstrapping approach. Well done Sophie!
